Hi, this is Harald Zundel, with Venture Four. We're at the transition area from kayak to bike on day one. It's been, so far, a beautiful day but also very challenging and tough. A lot of altitude gain and losses, and especially the last bike leg, was very hard on our team. A lot of uphill and it was a struggle, but we made it through, and now the rest of the team is on the canoeing section.

They should arrive here any moment and we'll head out with mean spirits out onto the next bike section, which will be short — thank God.

Other than that, the race is really awesomely organized: all the volunteers are where they are supposed to be, transition areas are pretty much set up, and it's just a great race to be a part of. We'll give you feedback when I get back to the next transition area. Thanks, bye.
