About Krissy Moehl
"I feel running has helped define me as a person, and in finding ultra-trail running I have found the kind of running that is best suited for me." Working in the outdoor industry from 2001-2006 Krissy Moehl was able to tie her passion with a career where she delved into the ultrarunning community and had the opportunity to explore the country and world. As this career ended, a new opportunity opened and the summer of 2006 is looking to be one for self exploration, coinciding with running adventures around the western United States. "In the past five years I have met some incredible people in the ultrarunning community. I see this summer as an opportunity to show up on friends’ doorsteps and join them for their favorite trail run.” For Krissy, this blog is to capture and share this changing time in her life and inspire others to take a chance and follow their hearts.
